About the role:
Our Front-End Engineers are original thinkers who transform creative concepts into working websites and interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Working hand in hand with other interactive departments, our developers are team players, skilled at matching strategic direction with appropriate results for Internet and Web-based marketing development initiatives. Attention to detail, combined with a strong working knowledge of web technologies and the ability to create dynamic solutions is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Create front-end solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives and concepts.
- Develop cross browser compatible user interfaces.
- Maintain and extend component libraries.
- Be an expert on best user experience practices.
- Participate in client meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Provide quality assurance on all deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design/Development, Marketing, Information Technology and/or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Web Development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Knowledge of TypeScript and Web Components a plus.
- Knowledge of Front End build tools with Node JS a plus (Ex: Webpack, Rollup, Grunt)
- Exposure to (M)VVM and MVC patterns and architectures.
- Knowledge of Responsive Design techniques.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (ADA/WCAG).
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work in both a stand-alone and a team environment.
- Knowledge of CMS systems (Sitefinity, Sitecore, Drupal, and Kentico) a plus.
