Community Corrections Drug Screening Technician - Observation of FEMALE clients

Hours: Part time, 20 hours per week. Position scheduled hours are 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Hours may vary depending on the needs of Community Corrections.

This position involves the direct observation of female clients participating in a urine drug screening program. 

 Nature of Work/Examples of Work Performed: This is human service work in a community corrections program performing drug screening work with the responsibility of utilizing various testing methods and reporting the results to the designated parties.

Provides frequent and random on-site and community drug testing, directly observes same-gender client drug testing, sends urine specimens to prescribed laboratory as directed, documents and records data, and follows drug testing procedures and policies at all times.

 Minimum Qualifications/Necessary Special Requirements:
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent and at least 6 months experience with the criminal justice system either in an employed status or as an intern; or equivalent.

Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of a valid driver's license when operating a vehicle is required in the performance of assigned duties.
