Youth Development Facilitator
The Seymour Osman Community Center (SOCC)’s Afterschool Program is looking for energetic staff who enjoy working with youth and having fun while at work in expanding elementary school students learning beyond the typical school day through hands on, engaging learning opportunities. Program begins at 3:00 pm and closes at 6:00 pm.
Job responsibilities include:
- Supporting elementary school aged students with homework completion.
- Assist Homework Lab Leaders and Enrichment Facilitators during program times.
- Plan, implement, and supervise engaging activities during Open Gym.
- Act as a role model for youth.
- Assist with student transitions and behavior management protocols.
Ideal candidates are energetic, flexible, love to have fun at work and making a difference and are able to follow COVID-19 protocols.
