Daily Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities / initiatives to track to completion for improved efficiencies in all areas of manufacturing CNC milling, lathe, grinding, finishing, shipping, and coatings
- Contribute to established larger company wide projects to drive improvements
- Spend time engaging with employees on shop floor for opportunity and improvement ideas
- Calculate Return on Investment and/or Project savings calculations for finance buy in
- Openly communicate lessons learned, information, and best practices with appropriate teams for read across all facilities
- Conduct After Action Reviews for lessons learned,
Training Requirements
- Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies Value Stream Maps
- Problem Solving Methods
- Project Charters and Project Delivery Schedules
- Maintaining RAIL (Rolling Action Item List)
Job Specifications
- In pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering (all) or Manufacturing disciplines
- Analytical skills, problem solving, conflict resolution
- Computer skills, manufacturing software, MS office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills amongst all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail, strong follow up skills
- Be safe. follow all procedures and best practices
- Sense of urgency, initiative
