Duties

At the entry level of this position, you will:

- Assist in the analysis and assessment of environmental programs to support the Compliance Division efforts;

- Provide assistance to senior staff, project officers, analytical staff, and other various staff members as needed;

- Perform scientific/engineering studies of environmental programs for regulatory and compliance issues and problems;

- Conduct scientific/engineering literature reviews to determine the relevancy and use of the information gathered.

When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
