Business Intelligence Analyst Intern (Undergraduate Summer 2024)

Position Purpose:
This intern will integrate, conform profiles and maps data, and provide quality assurance oversight on business processes where data is collected, stored, transformed, or used. They'll examine moderately complex data to optimize the efficiency and quality of the data being collected, resolve data quality problems, and collaborate with the business and developers to improve systems and database designs.
Duties:
- Analyze integrated and extensive datasets to extract value, which directly impacts and influences business decisions
- Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders to identify areas of value, develop solutions
- Deliver insights to reduce overall cost of care for members and improve their clinical outcomes
Skills:
- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools, specifically PowerBi
- Experience with various databases, including Teradata, Oracle or SQL Server preferred
- Have ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy under pressure and fast-paced environment
Experience/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
