Comcast’s West Division is seeking dynamic, self-motivated interns who have a strong passion to drive the age of innovation during an immersive summer experience with us! Our paid 11-week program gives interns hands-on experience working with various groups across multiple office locations within Comcast’s West Division. Engagement: Working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units at Comcast during your internship experience.
Exposure: An inside look into the day-to-day operations of an organization at the cutting edge of media and technology.
Professional Development: Exposure to a variety of professional development topics facilitated by various partners and senior leaders within the organization. These sessions include speaker series, skill-building workshops, panels, and networking opportunities.

About the Sales & Marketing Business Intelligence Team:
- Analyzes actual results against expected performance
- Works and analyzes subscriber (Xfinity) and expense budgets for units
- Review and analyzes forecasts and recommends change when appropriate
- Provides reporting that is actionable by sales channel

- Experience with MS Excel, SQL of any variety.

What will you be working on as a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern:
- Works with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
- Determines relevancy of data and identifies alternative data sources as needed to ensure analytics requested by business stakeholders can be completed.
- Analyzes large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
- Queries disparate big data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS.
- Combines data as needed from disparate data sources to complete analysis.
- Identifies key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Develops forecasting models to predict sales, demand and other key business metrics.
- Analyzes the results of campaigns, offers or initiatives to measure their effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decisionmakers.
- Promotes and evangelizes a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
- Stays current with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning and applies them to business challenges.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications/Requirements
- Graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
- Authorized to work in the United States of America and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Strong interest in the technology, telecommunications, cable, and media industries
- Ability to work independently and in group settings
- Ability to report to assigned office post-graduation if offered and accepted a fulltime position
- Must have internet access to perform work virtually
- Must reside or attend school near the host office
