Part-Time Testing & Assessment Specialist

Valencia College is now hiring two Part-Time Testing & Assessment Specialists to support our Testing & Assessment department in our East Campus. In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide students with information to guide them through the assessment/testing process. This position will also support the department by creating a safe and supportive environment to facilitate the best testing experience.

About Valencia’s Assessment and Testing Center:
At the Assessment & Testing Center it is our mission is to inform students, faculty, staff, and the community about testing services and help guide students in making informed educational decisions. Our centers strive to provide a secure and conducive environment to support an optimal testing experience during placement testing and course testing throughout a student’s educational journey. Testing and Assessment Centers adhere to the Professional Standards and Guidelines set forth by the National College Testing Association (NCTA) and maintain active involvement in the Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA).

Additional Information:

• This position does not require working with Valencia faculty exams or administering CLEP; current Valencia students and undergraduate students are eligible to apply.
• This position operates in a Primarily Onsite environment
• This position is eligible for Veteran’s Preference under Florida Statute 295.07(5)(a), F.S.

Location: Orlando, FL 32825 - Osceola Campus **This position will operate primarily onsite. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am–5pm (Onsite: Mon, Tues, Thurs) (Virtual: Wed, Fri) 

Salary: $15.32 per hour
