2024 Summer Internship - Study & Site Operation - Portfolio Execution

The Americas Study & Site Operations Portfolio Execution team is seeking to hire a summer intern who is strong in planning and forecasting projects. The intern will develop a forecasting tool to plan clinical trial commitments for the Americas Hub. The candidate must have strong administration skills, which standardize the way the trial teams in Americas SSO plan and execute the trials. Must have excellent oral, written, and analytical communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to determine tool requirements, develop supporting capabilities, implement, and maintain the tool. The candidate should be responsible, willing to take initiative, able to share inspiration and creativity, and should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Development and creation of operational forecasting tool for study start up and recruitment:

- Evaluate content & planning

- Work with stakeholders to understand content needs and requirements

- Design tool in alignment with team objectives

- Create and update fields within tool, if necessary.

- Give suggestions and ideas that will enhance the tool overall.

- Develop governance plan for ongoing tool updates, maintenance, no limited to including responsibilities, owners, resources needed, etc.

- Manage and track the status of the project.

Required skills:

- In-depth knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite

- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting

- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

-Currently enrolled in an master’s of science or PhD program
