We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this vital role, you will play a crucial role in estimating costs, materials, and timelines for various construction projects, contributing to the city's ongoing development.
What you'll do:
- Develop accurate estimates for building construction and skilled trades maintenance projects.
- Analyze blueprints, construction documents, and work requests to determine project scope.
- Consult with various departments and vendors to obtain precise cost information for materials, equipment, and labor.
- Ensure proposed projects comply with relevant codes and regulations.
- Assist in coordinating the execution of multi-craft construction jobs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Two years of experience estimating building construction or skilled trades maintenance costs, OR
- Three years of experience in a journey-level skilled trade.
