Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced maintenance and operations management professional who has exceptional leadership skills and the initiative to deliver the Maintenance program for Eastern Region – Area 3 based out of Davenport, WA. The successful candidate will have the high-profile responsibility of directing the maintenance, operation, and preservation of 980 lane miles of the state highways primarily in Lincoln and Adams counties. The development and sustaining of public confidence is imperative and therefore this individual must have unparalleled ability to plan, coordinate, and lead activities with a strong customer-focus.   In addition, this position will provide staff a balanced workplace, promoting training and development for professional growth and upward mobility, employee safety, workforce diversity, and pride in ownership. This position is critical in ensuring highway infrastructure is maintained in good working order to allow for uninterrupted movement of people and commerce across the state.
