Administrative Officer - R8

Duties

 

At the entry level of this position, you will:

  1. Develop, recommend, and implement administrative plans and procedures designed for maximum flexibility and effectiveness.
  2. Conduct property management to include use, security, and disposal of equipment.
  3. Coordinate HR related activities for the organization including providing information on HR related questions.
  4. Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, records, briefing materials, and statistical and narrative material required to support the organization.

When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
