Restaurant Busser
Killington, Vermont's largest hospitality management company—the Karr Group—is seeking Bussers/Food Runners with experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant to join our dynamic team of hospitality professionals!
Bussers/Food Runners are responsible for supporting restaurant staff. Duties include removing used dishes, resetting silverware, filling beverages, and delivering food to tables. You enjoy talking to people, have a customer-oriented approach, and have excellent communication skills. You are able to work quickly and efficiently, with attention to detail.
As the busser/food runner, you are essential to setting up your team for success and ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. This is a great way to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to create a memorable dining experience!
Previous restaurant experience is preferred but we will train the right person!
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Be able to anticipate guests’ needs
- Have the ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
- Take part in pre-service duties and closing duties
- Demonstrate a passion for details and a willingness to learn
- Uphold hospitality standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
- Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
