ARS HRD Program Assistant (Virtual - Beltsville, MD) Fall 2024
USDA Agricultural Research Service is currently recruiting for an Program Assistant at Human Resources Division : USDA ARS in Beltsville, MD for Fall 2024.
Liaison Role:
- Serve as a bridge between HACU (Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities), supervisors, interns, and relevant agencies.
- Facilitate communication, collaboration, and coordination among these stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth information flow and address any issues promptly.
Resource Management:
- Maintain current knowledge of intern community resources and services.
- Provide information to interns and supervisors regarding available resources.
- Help interns navigate administrative processes within the USDA.
-Assist supervisors, team leads, agency points of contact, and other HACU liaisons in bridging communication gaps.
- Ensure timely dissemination of information.
- Help resolve any issues or challenges that arise.
Serve as Point of Contact:
- Provide guidance, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Foster a positive experience for interns during their program.
Intern Events and Activities:
- Collaborate with Talent Outreach Branch Outreach Program Assistant to host events, workshops, and social activities for HACU interns.
- Promote networking, professional development, and team-building.
