Valencia College is now hiring two Learning Assistant II (Tutors) to join the Learning Support Tutoring team at the Downtown campus. This position will be supporting students with Math and/or Science.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous tutoring experience
- Successfully completed one or more of the following courses:
- Biology: Biology I, Biology II, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology I, Anatomy and Physiology II
- Chemistry: General Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II
- Math: Developmental Math, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Liberal Arts Mathematics I/II, Statistical Methods

Additional Information:
- This position operates in a Fully Onsite environment.
- This position is eligible for Veteran’s Preference under Florida Statute 295.07(5)(a), F.S.
