Opportunity to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience in Women’s Health. Urogynecology  practice in Sarasota looking to hire a Medical Assistant.  Part and Full-time opportunities available.  The ideal candidate is a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills.  This position has tremendous growth opportunities.  Training provided.

Ideal candidate:

• Interest working with a female urology or gynecology experience a PLUS

• Interest in working with geriatric population

• Tech savvy and able to assist with marketing and building a social media presence

Responsibilities:

• Week will include a mixture of patient care and administrative/office duties

• Clinical duties may include but are not limited to rooming patients, taking vitals, pre-charting, scribing, calling patients, responding to patient taskbox, following urine cultures, handling RX refills, provide educational materials to patients, Hands-on clinical procedures

• Front desk responsibilities may include faxing, mailing, answering phone calls, scheduling patient appointments

• Assistance with preauthorization, billing, claim submissions,
