  • 36.25 hour work week, full-time role. Salaried position paid bi-weekly.

  • One week of paid vacation and 15 sick days immediately allocated upon hire. 3 personal days provided per year, prorated with employee start date. Starting vacation accrual of 3 weeks per year. Sick time accrued at 15 days per year after first year of employment with an unlimited accrual.
  • Starting salary range, determined by formula accounting for years of experience: $76,340.00 (base rate) to $95,400.00 (10 years of experience performing this same job or job with primarily the same duties.)

Grants & Contracts Manager

The day-to-day activities of a Finance Grants and Contracts Manager may vary; however, the core responsibilities involve financial management, contract administration, grant oversight, and compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial regulations and government accounting principles.

Job Duties (Summary):

  • Ensures compliance with Medicaid administrative duties, including contracting with providers and maintaining accurate financial records related to Medicaid administration.
  • Oversees internal Medicaid billing processes, including Targeted Case Management (TCM) and Random Moment Time Study (RMTS), and provides training to improve efficiency.
  • Serves as backup support for billing staff and assists with internal Medicaid billing audits and reviews.
  • Monitors and manages Medicaid billable service grants, budgets, and internal reporting to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Provides training and technical assistance to agency staff and providers on Medicaid billing processes, regulations, and service implementation.
  • Manages agency and provider contracts, grants, and billable Medicaid services, ensuring terms align with quality standards, budget constraints, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitors budgets, addresses billing discrepancies and prepares financial reports for funding agencies.
  • Oversees internal compliance related to contracts, grants, Medicaid services, and administrative data by collaborating with various departments.
  • Conducts financial analyses, forecasts, and reporting to identify trends and ensures accurate billing and invoicing processes.
  • Manages grant and contract payable and receivable processes for all agency contracts and billable services.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in management, public administration, finance, business administration, or related field required
  • Five years of demonstrably related experience
  • Must be able to pass criminal background checks and various abuser registry checks
