
Intake Coordinator
Intake Coordinator shall enhance the quality of life and residential services for Adult Individuals with a Developmental Disability. The Intake Coordinator shall have the ability to work as a team as well as work well independently. Intake Coordinator will conduct intake interviews and assessments for individuals referred to receive residential services as well as provide case management. May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.
The Intake Coordinator shall:
- Have experience and knowledge of case management principles and practices.
- Have experience working with individuals with a developmental disability
- Have the ability to organize and manage multiple work assignments and establish priorities
- Be detail oriented
- Have professional oral and written communication skills
- Have excellent people skills
- Have time management skills
- Have conflict management skills
- Excellent documentation skills
Qualifications:
- Equivalent of a college degree in social work, psychology, human services, special education or related field
- 3 years experience working with individuals with a developmental disability
- Successfully complete a criminal background check
- Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Relevant combination of education and experience
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
