Kresge is a Christ-centered, Spirit-led church affiliated with the Global Methodist Church, just outside downtown Cedartown. With 120+ years of legacy and a heart for the future, we’re rebuilding our music ministry with a passion for authentic worship that blends traditional hymns, modern praise, and gospel soul.

What We’re Looking For…
We need someone who’s excited to:
   •    Lead and grow a dynamic music ministry
   •    Collaborate with our pastor and worship team to plan meaningful worship each week
   •    Mentor and encourage musicians (young and old!)
   •    Experiment with new worship experiences (Wednesday nights? Acoustic vespers? Youth band?)

This is a part-time position with primary focus on Sunday mornings (9:30am–12:30pm), with flexibility and freedom to help shape what comes next.

This could be for you if you are…
   •    A student, recent grad, early-career musician, or experienced musician looking to build real leadership experience
   •    A creative soul with a heart for ministry
   •    Skilled in singing and/or playing instruments (piano, guitar — organ is a bonus!)
   •    Organized, self-motivated, and excited to collaborate
   •    Open to growing in your faith and leadership

Bonus if you…
   •    Can bridge both contemporary and traditional styles
   •    Are comfortable working with people of all ages
   •    Want to make a difference in a small town with big heart

Your Role Will Include:
   •    Planning music for weekly worship with the pastor
   •    Leading Sunday music and rehearsals
   •    Helping organize special services (holidays, weddings, funerals)
   •    Encouraging new musicians from the church and local community
   •    Overseeing instruments, music library, and budget
   •    Attending worship team and leadership meetings (once a month)
