About Flow Academy
Flow Academy is a new youth development company that helps students grow through sports and movement. We offer after-school programs in partnership with Denver Public Schools, as well as weekend camps across the metro area. Our research-based approach helps students reach a flow state, a focused and engaged mindset, through a mix of structured lessons, student choice, and self-guided learning.
Position Overview
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable After-School Enrichment Coach for our fall session. In this role, you will lead fun, movement-based activities that support physical, social, and emotional development in elementary students, grades 1-5. You’ll facilitate lessons aligned with our curriculum, create a positive environment for student growth, and serve as a mentor and role model. Applicants must be available during after-school times, 2:30-5:30, Tuesday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities
In this particular role, reliability is essential. All coaches are required to arrive at least 30 minutes early for the start of class.
Lead engaging sports and movement-based activities for groups of around 25 students (1-5)
Implement Flow Academy’s curriculum with fidelity while allowing space for student choice.
Support students in achieving a focused, “flow” mindset through structured and self-guided activities.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Build strong relationships with students, families, and school staff
Ensure all equipment and materials are set up, maintained, and put away properly, and that the area is clean.
Communicate regularly with the Flow Academy team about student progress and program needs.
Qualifications
Reliable transportation to program sites across the Denver metro area.
Experience working with youth in educational, recreational, or athletic settings.
Passion for physical activity, youth development, and growth mindset principles.
Ability to manage a classroom or group setting with patience, positivity, and leadership.
Ability to lift and carry equipment, up to 50 lbs.
All employees must complete the following trainings/certifications before the first class (or be willing to obtain):
CPR/First Aid certification
Medical Administration Training
Background check clearance required
Any associated fees will be paid upfront by the employee and reimbursed at the end of the completed fall session.
Schedule & Compensation
Programs vary by location, but run during after-school hours (typically 2:30–5:30 PM), Tuesday–Friday
Weekend opportunities may be available
Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Base pay starts at $25
