HMHA is seeking Qualified Mental Health Professionals or those interested in working in the rewarding field of providing mental health services in the community. This position offers the flexibility to make your own schedule, a relaxed office environment, and supportive professional guidance.
Our QMHPs work with children ages 4 to 18 y/o in our Intensive In-Home therapy program who are at risk of being removed from their home due to hospitalization, incarceration, residential placement, or social services involvement. We also offer Mental Health Skill Building services for adults who are at risk of hospitalization, incarceration, or homelessness.
Our goal is to assist adults and children who need to stabilize in their current placement or create stability through providing support, referrals to community resources, building coping skills, improving relationships, and learning life skills.
Certified QMHPs are encouraged to apply.

To begin the process, you must have a bachelor’s degree in any field or be actively enrolled and in good standing in a bachelor’s program. Didactic training is required and offered through the VA Workforce Development office; the cost of the training will be reimbursed at the end of the six-month probationary period.
