Insurance Service Intern / or Part-time
Job Summary:
- Learn, understand and participate in the renewal and sales process with account managers and sales professionals by learning functions/activities to a sufficient level to assist as requested by account managers or sales professionals.
- Shadow our account managers to learn how the renewal process works with significant exposure to various insurance products, policies and levels of coverage.
- Participate in service calls with account managers and become knowledgeable enough to provide support as needed.
- Develop an understanding of the relationship between insurance agencies and insurance companies.
- Develop a hands-on understanding of superior customer service.
- Learn and participate in the operation of the agency. Attain sufficient knowledge to supplement activities of various positions within the agency.
- Participate in hands-on projects initiated by Executive Management.
Position Requirements:
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school/university pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business
