Creative Marketing Strategist

We are looking for a creative marketing strategist who can help us stand out, drive real customer acquisition, and scale sustainably. This is not a role for template thinkers. We are not looking for someone who copies competitors or outsources ideas to ChatGPT. Instead, you must understand the industries, consumer psychology, and today’s marketing landscape and be able to apply that in ways that:

  • Builds a cult following, not just vanity metrics.
  • Convert attention into sales and repeat customers.
  • Scale both a small brand and a new brand with tight resources.

You will also guide our social media coordinator on what type of content to create, helping ensure that posts generate sales and community, not just views.

We run two companies:

  • A luxury haircare brand
  • A functional nutrition service focused on holistic health and creating cult-level engagement - this company is brand new so you'll be starting from zero essentially.

Both brands are in the early-to-growth stage with small budgets, so creativity, boldness, and strategy are critical.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative marketing strategies and brand positioning for both companies with small but smart budgets. 
  • Propose unique campaign ideas that position the brands differently from competitors. Focusing on what we do differently and what our competitors aren't doing (filling that gap) rather than what competitors are doing and trying to copy.
  • Work closely with our social media coordinator, directing content angles with the purpose of building community and generating sales.
  • Leverage consumer psychology to build loyalty, community, and repeat purchases.
  • Track results and adjust strategies to maximize sales.
  • Present ideas and rationale clearly, showing how they drive conversions.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology, the current social media landscape, and digital marketing. An ability to be ahead of the current marketing and positioning the brands in a timeless way rather than simply following trends.
  • Ability to come up with fresh, original ideas that are not templated or AI-generated.
  • Experience (not necessarily years, but proven examples - even ideas of what you would do would be accepted here) in creating marketing campaigns and brand positioning that drive sales, engagement, and loyalty.
  • Comfortable working with small budgets and finding resourceful, outside-the-box solutions.
  • Ability to demonstrate a thought process behind ideas, not just “what,” but “why it will work.”
  • Creativity, independence, and strategic thinking that translates into tangible results.
  • Know how to build brand community both online and offline.
