Accounting Assistant

Administrative and Accounting Assistant 

The company is a multifaceted small business that does work in Real Estate Development, Facility Management, Project / Construction Management and Interior Design.

 

The primary role will be daily accounting support with secondary role to assist management with administrative tasks as time allows.       

  • Filing: scan and file receipts, invoices, payments and other accounting documents
  • Accounts Payable: maintain accounting records, process company and project invoices, P-card invoices, reimbursement requests
  • Accounts Receivable: deposit and log checks and ACH’s
  • Reconcile: reconcile bank and credit card statements with accounting records
  • Research: minimize and quickly identify and reconcile inaccuracies, errors and omissions.  Promptly report issues to supervisor.
  • Payroll: collect and process employee time sheets
  • Support: assist Management with other requirements

As time permits, provide support to other team members.  

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A college degree in accounting or related field is preferred but not required.  On the job training will be provided,  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet
  • Organized, fast and accurate
