Media Arts Instructor

PART-TIME MEDIA ARTS INSTRUCTOR 

The College Student Media Arts Instructor will provide Video Production and/or Music Production instruction to Kindergarten to 12th grade students in-person at our Afterschool and/or Saturday programs. Must be proficient in (1) or more current video production and/or music production platforms or willing to learn SoundTrap.com, WeVideo.com and/or Canva.com if not known. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Use provided curriculum / tutorials  to deliver lesson plans on video production, music production and/or graphics arts, explaining main features and demonstrating examples for greatest comprehension.
• Lead music production activities, demonstrating various techniques and encouraging children to come up with ideas
• Communicating with students and/or parents, providing updates where required and answering questions about the class.
• Providing guidance, motivation and support to all class visitors

• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Google Workspace and Cloud software programming platforms including SoundTrap.com, WeVideo.com and Canva.com.

Education and Experience:

• Current (2) year or (4) year college student in a Media Arts related major.
