Abbode is a fast growing embroidery brand that is looking for in-store and events sales associates! Hours primarily looking for Weekend, and evening weekdays
We are looking for someone who has:
An adaptable and customer-focused professional with experience in retail sales and event support for an embroidery company. Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to manage both in-store operations and on-site event activities, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and efficient event execution. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to promote embroidery products and services.
- Assist customers in selecting designs, colors, and custom embroidery options based on their preferences and needs.
- Process sales transactions, online transactions, returns, and manage in-store inventory with attention to detail.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment, adhering to company merchandising standards.
- Participate in setting up and managing company booths or stations at events, including trade shows, pop-ups, and corporate events.
- Assist customers in the intake process.
- Coordinate with event organizers and team members to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to use POS systems and manage inventory software for accurate record-keeping and sales tracking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers and team members.
- Problem-solving ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Time management and organizational skills to balance retail duties and event responsibilities.
- Comfortable with travel to various event locations within the city or region.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Experience working in event settings, demonstrating a proactivity and adaptability (Preferred).
- Passionate about embroidery, design, and providing a personalized customer experience (Preferred).
- Additional training or certification in retail management or embroidery techniques (Preferred).
- Ability to Commute to New York, NY 10012 (Required)
Job Details:
- Part Time Hours, around 15-25 per week
- Starting Pay: $17-$25.50
