Whizara offers student-centered, highly engaging after school classes for K-12 students. The company is looking for enthusiastic instructors who can teach Spanish language for its in-person classes in San Francisco, CA.
Job Responsibilities
- Create a safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Be punctual, reliable and efficient to run an effective class.
- Follow curriculum, set student's goals, motivate and guide students to provide an enjoyable learning experience.
- Monitor student progress, advise students and provide feedback and support to students as required to meet student outcomes and course objectives.
- Work effectively with students, teachers and parents to achieve course goals.
- Maintain an organized and clean classroom environment.
- Work independently and be a self-starter.
- Communicate via email and phone with us as needed.
Job Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Education, Language or related studies
- Current associate or college students are encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken, at a native or near-native level
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience of the K-12 age group is preferred
- Must be able to work with children and remain friendly, calm, and patient at all times
- Must be able to work in a classroom environment alongside teachers and/or independently
