Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef or line cook to join our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position has potential for upward movement. This role requires a passion for food production, creativity in menu planning, and strong leadership skills to foster a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

  • Assist all aspects of food production, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish served.
  • Assist in develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering to maintain adequate stock while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
  • Plan and execute catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality food service management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and inventory management practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Experience in menu planning with a focus on seasonal ingredients and dietary restrictions.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff at all levels.
  • Certification in food handling or culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory.
