Guest Services Sales Associate

Guest Services Sales Associate (Part-Time) 

Weekend availability required 

The Guest Services Sales Associate (GSSA) serves as the first point of contact for visitors to Drayton Hall and plays a vital role in shaping each guest’s experience. Reporting to the Director of Retail and Admissions, this position supports a variety of functions including museum shop operations, ticketing, membership sales, and front desk communications. The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, and able to respond to unexpected situations with professionalism and a positive attitude while adhering to Drayton Hall Preservation Trust’s policies and procedures. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Provide exceptional visitor service by welcoming guests, sharing accurate information about tours, programs, and amenities, and representing Drayton Hall with professionalism and enthusiasm. 

• Clearly communicate Drayton Hall’s mission and history to visitors and help further the organization’s goals through positive guest interactions. 

• Operate the museum shop, including opening and closing procedures, sales transactions, inventory management, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. 

• Sell tickets, memberships, and merchandise; process online orders; and maintain product knowledge to assist guests effectively. 

• Answer phone inquiries and provide helpful, informed responses. 

• Serve as a brand ambassador for Drayton Hall by promoting its mission, programs, and retail offerings with authenticity and enthusiasm. 

• Assist with special events and other guest-related activities as needed.
