Job Summary:

At Lemieux et Cie, we invite you to join our team as a Retail and Design Services Associate, where you will blend your passion for design with exceptional customer and client service. In this dual role, you will assist our talented design team in curating beautiful spaces while providing a welcoming and immersive design shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

In-store Retail:

• Greet and assist store customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries and recommendations
• Email customer followups in a timely manner
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
• Help manage inventory, including receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, ensuring merchandise is displayed according to design standards
• Support in producing in-store events and activations

Customer Experience:

• Fulfill all swatch orders from the store and manage all swatch order followups 
• Support the Customer Service team with trade account follow-ups
• Work with our trade partners to convert sales

Design Services:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts for residential projects that speak to the Lemieux et Cie brand and aesthetic 
• Create and modify floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp)
• Conduct research on materials, furnishings, and design trends
• Assist in preparing client presentations, mood boards, and design documentations
• Support in the procurement where needed
• Participate in site visits to gather information and assess project needs
• Help manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that deadlines are met

Qualifications

• Passion for design, interiors, and creating beautiful customer experiences
• 1–3 years of experience in retail, interior design, or related customer-facing roles
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite preferred)
