Artistic Director

Faith-based organization seeks visionary DANCE Artistic Director for a part-time (10 hrs/wk) position. Lead the creation of five choreographed pieces for four outreach programs. Must be an inventive, strategic leader with a commitment to community engagement. Role may extend based on performance/needs.

Develop and execute five original choreographed pieces 

Create and direct choreography for dance artist involved in outreach events and performances.

Plan and oversee four outreach events 

Collaborate with dances, musicians, and other artist to bring the choreographed pieces to life.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively

Engage with community partners and stakeholders to promote the outreach event and foster community involvement 

Provide artistic direction and direction and instructions to performers, ensuring high-quality performances

Evaluate the success of each outreach event and choreographed piece, providing feedback and recommendations for future projects.

Perform with other artists during the presentation of the event.

Teach dance classes, community student classes and oversee outcome-based work for event performances
