Program Support Intern

The Program Support Intern will work closely with the Program Director to assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of both new and existing programs . 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing details, supporting youth-focused initiatives, and contributing creative ideas to help programs thrive.

 Interns will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in program design, event planning, community engagement, and nonprofit operations.

Key Responsibilities: Program Development & Implementation

 ● Assist in designing and launching new youth programs and workshops aligned with LTSII’s mission. 

● Support the planning and execution of ongoing programs, mentoring sessions, and special events. 

● Help create culturally relevant and engaging curriculum materials or activities. 

● Gather and organize feedback from participants to inform program improvements. Coordination & Logistics

 ● Maintain program schedules, registration lists, and participant communication. ● Coordinate logistics such as venues, supplies, volunteer support, and transportation (as applicable).

 ● Track attendance, outcomes, and engagement data. Community Engagement 

● Assist in outreach to schools, community partners, and families. 

● Represent the organization at community events and assist with presentations or tabling. 

● Support mentor and volunteer coordination when needed. Administrative Support

 ● Prepare and organize digital and physical program materials. 

● Support with documentation, reporting, and evaluation tasks. 

● Attend staff and planning meetings, contributing ideas and feedback. 

Qualifications

 ● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Work, Education, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, or related field

. ● Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
