 Full-time DSP Community

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Are you someone who loves being on the go and making every day an adventure? Community Access Unlimited (CAU) is searching for a lively DSP Community to team up with a member who’s all about festivals, movies, art classes, summer swims, and community fun — plus sharing her amazing American Doll collection with anyone who’ll listen!

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year working with people with developmental disabilities
BA/BS in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or related field preferred — or relevant hands-on experience

 

JOB TASKS

-Keep our program standards shining bright
-Safeguard members’ health, safety, and wellbeing — including medication and medical needs
-Protect and manage members’ finances with care
-Support meaningful employment and fun recreation
-Build positive, respectful staff/member relationships
-Follow the Individual Support Plan (ISP) 
-Uphold quality through agency reviews and CARF compliance
-Provide hands-on, heartfelt support to members
-Keep records sharp and updated in CareLogic (our Electronic Health Record)
-Check your CAU email regularly — stay in the loop!
-Partner with agency staff and authorities during inspections or investigations
-And pitch in with any other duties that pop up!

 

 QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and a safe driving record are must-haves!
