Cafe Team Member

Position Type: Part-Time
Reports To: Café Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our café team. This hybrid role includes both Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) duties, supporting daily operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate excels in customer service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, multitasks with ease, and stays calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Front-of-House (FOH)

Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly and welcoming attitude

Take orders accurately and efficiently

Prepare and serve beverages and light food items

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and service areas

Handle payments, operate POS systems, and manage transactions

Address customer questions, concerns, and special requests

Back-of-House (BOH)

Assist with basic food preparation and assembly

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen

Restock supplies and ingredients as needed

Follow food safety guidelines and café procedures

Support the team with opening, closing, and daily prep tasks

What We’re Looking For

Strong customer service skills and a positive, helpful attitude

Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during busy periods

Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Willingness to learn and adapt to various café tasks

Prior café or restaurant experience is preferred but not required

Schedule & Availability

Part-time position (flexible hours)

Availability on weekends or early mornings is a plus
