Social Media and Marketing Intern

Title: Social Media & Marketing Intern / Volunteer

Organization: Neighborhood Ninjas (501c3 Nonprofit)

Location: Remote (with occasional optional in-person opportunities in MA / DE)

About the Role:
Neighborhood Ninjas is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing Intern or Volunteer to support our digital presence and help grow our community impact. This intern will play a key role in creating engaging content, expanding our online reach, and strengthening awareness of our programs and mission.

Location: Remote (with occasional optional in-person opportunities in MA / DE)

Responsibilities:

  • Create social media content, including Reels, short-form videos, graphics, and branded visuals

     
  • Write compelling captions aligned with our voice and mission

     
  • Support growth of our Instagram and Facebook accounts through strategic posting, engagement, and content planning

     
  • Revamp and maintain our LinkedIn presence, including content creation and page updates

     
  • Assist with designing flyers and promotional materials for programs and events

     
  • (Bonus) Support website updates and edits via Wix

     
  • Track basic analytics to inform content strategy and audience growth

     

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn best practices

     
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar)

     
  • Video editing or Reels editing experience is a plus

     
  • Interest in social impact, youth development, fitness, or community engagement


 

Time Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5 hours/week; additional hours available for credit requirements.
