Tippi Toes Dance Instructor

A Tippi Toes Dance Instructor leads children’s dance classes and must have a love of children, an interest in being a part of early childhood activities, and be highly confident in teaching young students. Responsibilities include traveling to a variety of dance locations, preparing for classes, teaching curriculum, and developing a positive rapport with all students, families, and school staff.

Salary range $18 - $20 per class with flexible class scheduling as we have classes all day (morning-evening). All Tippi Toes staff members have an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children.

Position Responsibilities:

● Reviews assigned curriculum and practices lesson plans prior to class (no lesson planning or choreography creation involved in this position)

● Comes to each class in proper dress code, and allows appropriate time for set up

● Teaches class with enthusiasm and positivity that encourages student participation, interaction, and fun

Position Requirements:

● A background of working with or teaching children, or a desire of doing it

● Performance background is a plus (dance, theatre, cheer, etc.)

● Must have a current driver’s license and access to a reliable car

● Must be willing to go through a background check

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
