RETAIL SALES SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Job Summary:

COME JOIN OUR INTERN PROGRAM FOR THE 2026 SUMMER SEASON:

Interns will be mentored by experienced, dedicated professionals who embody the company’s vision and values. This hands-on RETAIL SALES IN-STORE INTERNSHIP provides exposure to retail operations, sales, merchandising, and buying, offering interns a well-rounded understanding of the business and our target customer.

Interns will gain practical experience by actively selling and serving customers in-store, helping to strengthen customer relationships and develop product knowledge. This role is designed to build real-world skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with in-store sales and customer service to better understand the product and target demographic

Support merchandising efforts, including moving shipments from the stockroom to the selling floor

Assist with updating and maintaining window displays on a weekly basis

Work closely with store leadership to support daily operations

Participate in a monthly touch-base with the Buyer to review business performance and emerging trends

Based on performance and progress, interns may have the opportunity to travel to New York City to shadow a company director and gain firsthand exposure to the buying process

Scheduling & Program Details

Internship schedules can be coordinated with school semester requirements

Summer internships are NOW available, with housing provided 2 BLOCKS FROM THE BEACH in CAPE MAY NEW JERSEY locations

The company operates multiple store locations; occasional travel may be required

Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to travel to various store locations as needed

Strong multitasking abilities

Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Ability to assist with light lifting and stockroom responsibilities
