Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Operations Support Specialist to join our team in Wilmington, NC. This role will provide essential operational and administrative support to the CEO and Founder, working 5-10 hours per week from our Wilmington office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to enter a venture-backed startup in the energy sector, with significant potential for professional growth. The position could evolve into a full-time operational role as the company expands.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain company records, including state and federal compliance documents.
  • Manage administrative paperwork and ensure timely processing.
  • Track bill payments and handle related financial administrative tasks.
  • Assist with other operational tasks as assigned by the CEO.
  • Support day-to-day operations to ensure smooth business functioning in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Background in Business Administration, with a focus in accounting and finance preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be readily available during business hours and committed to in-office work in Wilmington, NC.
