Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Active CNA License
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for transportation
- Current TB test
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Pass a criminal background check
- Smartphone and working knowledge of phone
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Availability every other weekend
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking for periods of time
Responsibilities:
- Assist with ADLs and IADLs as per the Plan of Care
- Provide personal care, companionship, and transportation
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and prepare nutritious meals
- Monitor health needs, including medication reminders and safety checks
- Encourage independence and mental engagement through activities
- Assist with therapy exercises as directed
- Document client activities, mood, and changes accurately and timely
- Report changes in client status to supervisor
