THE VALUE YOU DELIVER:
- Design and implement digital systems using FPGAs
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues and provide timely solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify functionality.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments related to FPGAs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve performance, reduce cost, and enhance functionality.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers to integrate hardware and software components.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve overall design quality.
THE EXPERTISE WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA development
- Strong understanding of RTL design and verification using SystemVerilog and/or VHDL
- Experience implementing and validating FPGA designs from concept through hardware bring-up
- Working knowledge of timing constraints and timing closure techniques
- Experience integrating third-party IP into FPGA designs
- Proficiency with Xilinx design tools (e.g., Vivado, IP Catalog, Vitis, SDK)
- Experience using hardware debugging tools such as logic analyzers, JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
- Experience with embedded software development in C/C++
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of FPGA development experience
- Experience with DSP algorithm analysis in MATLAB or Python and implementation in FPGAs
- Experience with Xilinx MPSoC or RFSoC devices
- Familiarity with RF circuitry and RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers)
- Experience with multi-gigabit transceivers and high-speed communication protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, or USB
- Experience supporting system-level integration in multidisciplinary engineering teams
