Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

  • As a Customer Service Representative, warmly greet and engage customers, creating a welcoming, informative environment that supports both service and sales success.
  • Clearly explain how solar works covering incentives, financing, cost savings, and installation.
  • Listen actively to each customer's needs, helping them determine whether solar is the right fit while strengthening overall service and sales conversations.
  • Present customized solar solutions, confidently guiding customers toward next steps that support our sales goals.
  • As a dedicated Customer Service Representative, address questions, concerns, or objections professionally, building trust and moving the sales process forward.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, proposals, follow-ups, and sales activity using our CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed both service and sales targets while collaborating with your retail teammates to create a fun, positive, growth-oriented atmosphere that showcases the strength of each Customer Service Representative.
  • Support store sales initiatives and contribute creative ideas to enhance customer engagement and overall sales performance.

     

What We’re Looking For in a Customer Service Representative

  • Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience (experience as a Customer Service Representative is a strong plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that support effective service and sales conversations.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment while balancing multiple customer interactions, proposals, and sales opportunities.
