Project Manager

Job Purpose

· Address all customer questions and concerns regarding project scheduling.

· Track and maintain key target dates committed to for each project.

· Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting target dates.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Main point of contact for internal and external customer inquiries regarding scheduling questions.

· Communicate any engineering questions to the appropriate project engineer and/or department.

· Communicate with production team regarding project status and/or ship dates.

· Track and record key project dates; submittals, submittal returns, electrical and mechanical releases, purchasing releases, factory acceptance testing, shipping, quoted lead times.

· Demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the Company Quality Management System by:

o Taking accountability for the effectiveness of the quality management system;

o Ensuring that the quality policy and quality objectives are established for the quality management system and are compatible with the context and strategic direction of the organization;

o Promoting the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking;

o Ensuring that the resources needed for the quality management system are available;

o Communicating the importance of effective quality management and of conforming to the quality management system requirements;

o Ensuring that the quality management system achieves its intended results;

o Engaging, directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system;

o Promoting improvement;

o Supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility.

· Demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to customer focus by ensuring that:

o Customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, understood and consistently met;

o The risks and opportunities that can affect conformity of products and services and the ability to enhance customer satisfaction are determined and addressed;

o The focus on enhancing customer satisfaction is maintained.

· Maintain clean and safe work area.

· All duties assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or management.

· Responsible for understanding and executing Company goals and objectives while actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.

Qualifications

· Education

o High School Diploma or equivalent.

o Business Management degree a plus.

· Experience

o 3-5 years of project management experience.

o Manufacturing processes a plus.

· Specialized knowledge

o N/A

· Skills

o Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and Project skills.

· Abilities

o Able to clearly communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management.

o Demonstrated time management skills.

o Must be well organized.

· Professional Certification(s)

o Project Management Professional or other project management certification a plus.
