Junior Buyer Intern

Job Summary:
The Junior Buyer Intern supports the purchasing and supply chain team in sourcing materials, components, and services required for automotive production. This role provides hands-on experience in supplier communication, cost analysis, and procurement processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist buyers in sourcing automotive parts, raw materials, and services.

Support supplier communication regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and order status.

Help prepare and analyze requests for quotes (RFQs).

Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier data in ERP systems.

Conduct basic cost comparisons and market research.

Support inventory monitoring and help resolve supply issues.

Participate in supplier meetings and cross-functional team discussions.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Interest in automotive manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of ERP systems/Microsoft Teams.

Understanding of basic procurement or manufacturing processes.

This internship provides exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier management, and automotive production operations.
