Did you know, today, the average American has fewer close friends than any generation before? We're changing that. Alyke is a social app that matches people based on shared interests - not just whoever's nearby. Think Hinge energy, but for finding your next best friend instead of a date.
We just launched in the US in January 2026. 4.6★ on the App Store. People are genuinely making friends. Now we need help spreading the word.
The Role
We're looking for a US-based college student to be our eyes and ears on Instagram and TikTok. Your job: find micro-influencers who'd be perfect partners for Alyke - creators whose audiences would genuinely care about making real friends.
This isn't about follower counts. It's about taste. You'll be curating - finding creators who feel authentic, have real community engagement, and make content that resonates. We need someone who actually understands what's trending, what feels genuine, and what's cringe.
What You'll Do
1. Scout creators
Scroll Instagram Reels and TikTok with intention. Find US-based creators in GRWM, lifestyle, and "day in my life" niches averaging 30K-100K views. Save the good ones.
2. Vet for quality
Check their comment sections - are real people engaging, or is it just other influencers farming likes? We'll teach you exactly what to look for.
3. Submit a weekly shortlist
15-20 qualified creators per week in a simple Google Sheet. Handle, avg views, why they'd be great for Alyke.
4. Comment control (when we have sponsored posts live)
When a creator posts Alyke content, you'll drop our branded comment and reply to anyone asking about the app.
What We're Looking For
Currently enrolled at or recently graduated from a US college/university. Active on Instagram and TikTok - you already scroll these platforms, now get paid for it. Good taste and cultural awareness - you know what's trending and what feels authentic vs. forced. Strong attention to detail - you can articulate why a creator's audience feels real or fake. Reliable and responsive.
Bonus: Interest in marketing, social media, or creator economy.
Details
6-10 hours per week, completely flexible around your schedule. Remote - work from anywhere. Compensation: $20/hour, paid bi-weekly via Zelle or Wise. This is an ongoing role. As Alyke grows, we'll need more creators - and we'll need you to help find them.
