Class Details:
Class: Chess Club
Start Date: March 31
Schedule: Tuesdays, 4:05 PM – 5:05 PM
Grade Level: K–5th
Location: Babler Elementary School (1955 Shepard Rd, Wildwood, MO 63038
Job Duties:
- Assist students in targeted subject areas via individual or group tutoring
- Host workshops on selected topics
- Model and encourage collaborative study strategies
- Create and manage resources
- Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment
- Meet regularly with the supervisor
- Expected hours: 2
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, English, mathematics) (preferred)
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or education is highly desirable.
- Patience and the ability to work with students of diverse learning styles.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to the needs of individual students.
- Must be able to commit to schedules
- Has a personal vehicle and laptop
- Must be living in the area where classes are held
- Experience with children is preferred, but not required
Salary: $25 per hour
