Marketing Intern - Proposal Development
About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer and support our proposal development process. The primary focus of this role is building and maintaining internal resumes — polished, project-specific personnel profiles used in proposals and statements of qualifications submitted to clients and partners.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys writing, organizing information, and producing professional documents. You'll work directly with our Director of Marketing and interact with project managers, superintendents, and field leaders across the company to capture their experience and translate it into compelling, client-ready content.
What You'll Do
Your day-to-day work will focus on researching, writing, and formatting personnel profiles for competitive proposals. This means conducting short interviews or surveys with team members, gathering project data, and building clean, consistent resume documents that highlight relevant experience for specific project pursuits. You'll also help maintain our resume library, keeping profiles current and organized throughout the summer.
Depending on your pace and interest, you may also assist with other marketing tasks, such as project photography coordination, case study drafting, and social media content creation.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a rising junior or senior studying marketing, communications, or a related field. You should be a strong writer with a sharp eye for detail, the ability to interview people, and the ability to distill their experiences into clear, concise language. Familiarity with Microsoft products and experience in, or a willingness to learn, Adobe InDesign is a plus. Construction experience is not required — curiosity and work ethic matter more.
