Role Overview
We're looking for a driven, outgoing student to help grown UniFi locally in the Bay Area.
This is a field-based, part-time role focused on grassroots growth. You'll identify local businesses, student organizations, and community hubs that serve people who send money internationally, and pitch simple referral partnerships.
You'll work directly with the founders and have real ownership over your market.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit local businesses (restaurants, shops, community centers) and pitch referral partnerships
- Distribute and place promotional materials strategically
- Build relationships with student groups and cultural organizations
- Track signups generated from your outreach
- Provide feedback on messaging, incentives, and local strategy
- Help test and refine grassroots growth initiatives
Minimum requirements
- Currently enrolled at a Bay Area college or university
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable initiating conversations and pitching ideas in person
- Self-motivated and organized
- Able to work independently without close supervision
- Access to reliable transportation preferred

- Interested in startups, fintech, marketing, sales, or business development
- Connected to or familiar with communities that regularly send money abroad
- Comfortable representing a financial product professionally
Compensation
Part-time role. Compensation structure (hourly, commission, or hybrid) is flexible and will be discussed with selected candidates and tied to performance and impact.
