Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic

Location: Vista, CA
Employment Type: Full time, Part time
Schedule: 4-8 hr shifts

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, progress therapeutic exercises, and provide high-quality patient care.

 

Key Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist

Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities

Apply manual therapy techniques and modalities as directed

Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist

Document patient treatments accurately and timely in EMR

Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

 

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Current CA PTA license (or eligible for licensure)

CPR certification

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
