Technical Sales Representative (AI & CRM Automation Specialist)

About the Role
Top Tutors for Us is seeking a Technical Sales Representative who combines sales expertise with technical execution. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to sell solutions while also building systems — leveraging HubSpot CRM, AI automation, and data analytics to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.


You will play a key role in designing scalable sales workflows, implementing AI-driven automations, managing pipelines, and supporting client acquisition from first contact through conversion.


This is not a traditional sales role — we are looking for a tech-savvy operator who understands systems, numbers, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Manage inbound and outbound sales pipelines within HubSpot CRM
  • Qualify leads and move prospects through the sales funnel
  • Conduct discovery calls and present technical solutions to clients
  • Support proposal creation, pricing strategy, and deal closing
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and revenue tracking

CRM & Automation Management

  • Build and optimize workflows inside HubSpot CRM
  • Design automated sales sequences, email campaigns, and lead nurturing systems
  • Implement CRM automation to reduce manual processes
  • Maintain data integrity and pipeline reporting
  • Create dashboards and performance tracking metrics
     

AI & Automation Systems

  • Implement and manage AI agents for:
    • Lead qualification
    • Follow-up automation
    • Client onboarding workflows
  • Sales communication optimization
  • Integrate AI tools with CRM and internal systems
  • Continuously identify automation opportunities to increase efficiency

Data & Analytics

  • Analyze sales performance metrics using Excel and CRM analytics
  • Build reports tracking conversion rates, CAC, and pipeline health
  • Use data insights to improve sales strategy
  • Forecast revenue and identify growth opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical sales, sales operations, or RevOps
  • Advanced proficiency with HubSpot CRM
  • Experience building CRM automations and workflows
  • Familiarity with AI automation tools or AI agents
  • Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills (data analysis, reporting, dashboards)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable explaining technical solutions to non-technical clients
  • Strong numerical reasoning and analytical thinking
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Fast learner able to adapt in a startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS, EdTech, or technology startups
  • Knowledge of sales automation platforms (Zapier, Make, APIs, integrations)
  • Experience implementing AI workflows or GPT-powered automations
  • Background in sales operations or revenue operations (RevOps)
  • Experience with marketing automation and lead scoring models
  • Familiarity with pipeline forecasting and KPI tracking
