Junior Account Manager
We are looking for a Junior Account Manager to support AT&T’s wireless sales and customer engagement initiatives throughout the Sacramento area. This Junior Account Manager role focuses on working directly with customers, assisting with service upgrades, wireless sales strategies, product selection, and ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism, accuracy, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
The Junior Account Manager will represent AT&T within the community, helping customers understand plan options, device features, and network advantages while maintaining a professional and customer-focused presence. The Junior Account Manager will also play a contributing role in team performance by reinforcing service standards, supporting representatives in the field, and promoting consistent, customer-first engagement throughout the territory.
Junior Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Support daily sales activity by assisting customers with wireless product inquiries, service upgrades, and account enrollments while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Guide customers through service and device selections and sales by understanding their usage needs, connectivity expectations, and budget considerations, ensuring they are matched with the most suitable AT&T wireless solution.
- Document customer interactions, account changes, and service approvals accurately to ensure smooth transitions from initial inquiry through final activation and follow-up.
- Track sales performance, customer interest trends, and service upgrade opportunities, offering insight that supports stronger conversion, customer satisfaction, and repeat engagement.
- Strengthen customer relationships by providing consistent post-purchase support, answering follow-up questions, and ensuring each customer receives ongoing clarity and assistance with their wireless services.
- Support new team members by demonstrating effective customer interaction standards, strong product knowledge, and professional sales representation, contributing to a positive team environment.
Junior Account Manager Qualifications:
- Background in customer service or sales is helpful, but not required; we provide full training.
- Strong communicator who can guide service decisions, articulate value, and manage customer expectations with professionalism.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and performance-driven, with the ability to manage onboarding velocity, documentation accuracy, and campaign accountability.
- Individuals ready to take on responsibility and work toward account management or leadership opportunities.
